The New Mexico Child Welfare special edition is a publication of the Center for Sustainable Journalism and Youth Today. The Center, a nonprofit, and its publications rely on subscriptions, donations and support from foundations and charitable organizations to fund high-quality, impactful journalism.

The Center maintains editorial independence and full authority over editorial content. Donors may choose to support broad coverage topics but do not direct or have influence over news decisions. Accepting financial support does not indicate endorsement of products, services or opinions.

The Center aims to discover new ways to produce financially sustainable, high quality and ethically sound journalism via applied research, collaboration and innovative projects. The Center’s main publications include Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, Fresh Take Georgia and Bokeh Focus.
